Jose was born in Maine and as a child, loved to sing. He joined the Down East Country Music Association & has won many awards throughout New England. In 1999, Jose won Traditional Male Vocalist for the United States at the Show Boat Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It was at that point that Jose realized that he wanted a career as a Country Singer & Entertainer. He travels throughout New England singing at weddings, corporate events, fairs, resorts, retirement homes as well as other functions. Jose sings to a variety of age groups, but gives a lot of credit to the many seniors who attend his shows. He feels that these people are responsible for who he is today.

For 12 years Jose has been married to Ann Duddy, who is also his manager & booking agent. The couple keeps very busy, as Jose entertains on average, 3-5 times per week. He performs for seniors at nursing homes in southern Maine, & headlines at Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, NH.
